In this volume, which does not contain much Materia Medica, you will find information that is necessary for the practice of homeopathic medicine. Vassilis calls it: How to take the case, how to handle the patient.

Homeopahty is a science and an art. This book is not about the science of our homeopathic remedies, but about the art of obtaining good homeopathic information from our patients and the art of guiding the patient homeopathically to his cure.

This book review is reprinted from The Homoeopath with permission from Nick Churchill of The Society of Homoeopaths.
2 Artizan Road, Northampton NN1 4HU, United Kingdom.

The latest in the series of books based on transcriptions of lectures given by Vassilis Ghegas. Amongst the subjects covered are the first interview, the first prescription, evaluating the reaction to the remedy, the second prescription, treating patients on allopathic medication, potency choice etc. These are useful books from which all practitioners can learn something although I prefer the ones with a greater materia medica content. Some may find Vassilis' tendency to work strictly according to rules a bit restricting, but we are fortunate to be able to share his immense experience through these books lovingly created by Fons Vanden Berghe.
